This preseason was an indicator of how the beginning of this year would play out. Not very many teams were prepared to start the season. I wonder if next year's preseason becomes a little more heated, as teams try to get a better jump. I think it was pre-SB when Shanahan's Broncos took a few games off after they clinched a post-season berth. It cost them in the post-season. He never let that happen again. Notice the 2002 Rams during the pre-season, resting all their superstars. 0-5 beginning. Notice this year's Oakland Raiders. The Buccaneer's brought a lot of intensity to the preseason, especially with 5 games.
Minnesota -4
Kansas City -7.5
Green Bay -7.5
Seattle -3
Baltimore/San Diego U 38.5
Just for Fun:
The Browns go to the 49ers to try and restablish their run defense. After Denver let up: C. Dillon 22-278 12.6avg (total: 37-407) to Cincinnati in 2000, they went to Giants Stadium to face the NY Jets. The final line:
C. Martin 14-71 5.1 (total: 17-88 5.2)
A 30-23 Denver victory.
Good luck.
